I like that almost all features are included in every level of account so that you don't need a huge list to justify upgrading to gain access to premium services.
I haven't found much that I dislike yet on this platform. Questions are quickly answered by support chat.
managing mailing lists with automation tools including logical functionality for resending emails
A very helpful advisor called Joseph, who understood my queries and answered them in a non techie fashion!
The complications of having to alter DNS
I am still trying to set up an email list, but so far it's proving beyond me, so I have to pay for someone else to do it for me.
- Price: The free forever plan and the ability to scale affordably. - Automation: The automation systems are simple and intuitive.
Customization: With the free plan, there are limited templates available and it can be difficult to customize your emails with this section.
As a startup business, we chose Mailerlite as an alternative to MailChimp (i.e. an email service with a free-forever starter plan). Thus far, we have found it to be a straightforward and easy to use system for both our automated opt-in email sequences and our regular newsletters.
We use this service to send out a weekly newsletter to approximately 50 local business, using a template that rotates deoending on the week. I can set up weeks in advance all at once, and just schedule day/time when we want the newsletter sent. Track clicks, views, unsubscribe at an individual level. Easy to build out the look.
Gets caught in the odd 'spam filter' but is rare.
Automation of e-newsletter send outs.
Mailerlite really strikes a nice balance between being simple and straightforward to use and packing enough features in to serve the needs of email marketers.
User interface has a "Crayola" design aesthetic, however other than that the program works well and is snappy and straightforward.
Emailing customers and leads and following up with large email lists.
MailerLite is a simple, easy way to send out company emails and track important data of who is receiving that information.
Some of the editing and formatting functions aren't as smooth as they could be.
We use MailerLite to send company emails out twice a week to our employees as well as to send out a company newsletter once a month.
Ease of implementation, and especially the prompt customer service.
The training modules could have more video content.
Delivering my email sequences (new sign up's) and integrating with BookFunnel.
Simplicity of use. Very intuitive interface and good deliverability.
Some 'advanced' features in terms of templates and html editor would be useful
A good alternative to the market leader, that in fact can be used in conjunction with another email marketing platform.
Clean UI. Pricing. Ability to import contacts without hassle. Tag-based (not list based) Automations are easy to create.
No migration service. Support is very slow (can take several days to answer) API integration does not work. You have to pay for the HTML editor. Sending a broadcast could be quicker (95% of all email autoresponders SUCK at that). Email automation has been buggy, and support had to apply a patch. Bottom line: ALWAYS test your whole automation..
I am using mailerlite as my autoresponder to communicate with my audience and send offers.
All the possibilities of personnalisation. The reactivity of the support team (Sam).
It isn't possible to copy or template the thank you page and the confirmation message for double opt-in option.
Collecting suscribers and sending mails for my newsletter
Easy to use, free plan, serve for all basic needs
Too easy so that you may not execute some ideas if your email marketing becomes more sophisticated
Email marketing is one of the important tools for customer communication and it may be considered as own media. You can have a big control on nearly everything to fulfill your brand needs.
MailerLite is very intuitive and easy to implement. It is a good product for the price and easy to set up email campaigns, subscription forms, landing pages and create sutomations. I really like how I can set up emails to go out in the future automatically without having to send it manually on the day.
It took a long while for the approval process to be completed. Then because I did not use the system for a while, the approval was no longer valid. I contacted support to get it sorted out, which took a few months. I wouldn't say I like the limits implemented on their system, such as how many emails can be sent per month since it used to be unlimited on the free account.
It helps with email marketing, automating my email campaigns and building out a landing page with email subscription form. It is great for weekly newletters and also sending out nurturing campaigns to potential customers.
The interface seemed quite user friendly , so would recommend on that point.
I didn't really find myself disliking anything at all really. It was good.
Email marketing needed for an interview process. It served the purpose.
This software is super easy to use. This was the first mass mail software that I have used and I found it easy to navigate and use. I also like how you can see what percentage of people have clicked on the email so you can see who you're reaching.
The percentage of people clicking on the email is low, assuming the emails are going into spam. I'm currently trying to figure out a solution, but no luck so far.
It saves lots of time when trying to send out mass emails. It also lets you personalize your mass emails, making marketing easier.
It seems to work great for our marketing team. We really like the look of our emails.
As the person who manipulates the back end and maintains the mailing lists, when merging a new list into an old it got very tricky. Many emails were duplicated and it can be a little time consuming.
As a small business that sells consumer goods, email marketing is vital. This program fills that need for us at a decent price.
The platform is easy to use and has a pretty sufficient free plan for newbies. The pricing pkans are also quite reasonable.
I overall think the software could be more robust. I wouldn't recommend Mailerlite for email marketers with massive mailing lists or more advanced needs as there is other software out there that is more powerful.
It is making it easier to capture emails and connect with those on your mailing list. It is also easy to use so it saves a lot of time when creating forms and emails.
Everything was super easy to set up and it has all the features I need.
Since I'm in the UK, it's not very helpful that I can only pay in Euro.
Sending bulk emails is not possible without a provider like this. Mailerlite makes it hassle-free.
Mailerlite is very easy to set up. I was able to create a very attractive pop up within a matter of minutes. I was also able to easily import my contacts quickly.
Mailerlite is not as easy to get going as other solutions. You have to go through an approval process before you can send any emails. The built in templates leave much to be desired.
MaileLite allows me to keep in contact with my customers. Specifically. I was able to use mailerlite to create an attractive pop up where MailChimp's pop up was unattractive.
If you want to toy around, then it is a great platform, but I cannot recommend it for using it for serious client work or other production use. If you are trying out some concepts and looking for a cheap option rather than building your own, then this is a platform of choice. Most of the features are either under development or bugs where you will need to make adjustments in your flow. If you are looking to build simple rules, then there is a limit of 10, which is perfectly understandable. Now consider you have a survey template with 10 options and would like to route depending on answers. Guess what, you will need to build 10 rules for each answer separately. There is no concept of LESS THAN or any logic. It appears logic programming is completely missing with the developers. I raised multiple such issues, and mostly answers I received from help chat were, pointing me to other products which work better!! In all sincerity I have built a good stack based on their recommendations, so kudos for doing good research on competing products. I am happy to pay you minimum tier, just to get good recommendation from your help chat :)

Learning about other products in the market!!! Their help chat is really good with info on other products.
Cheap for large number of subscribers and good design options
The customer support. They don't explain things well and are rude. You will not hear things like "please". Expect from you to know everything about email marketing and want to get rid of you right away. They need to approve each campaign.
The only real benefit is the price. Everything other basically sucks when compared to MailChimp (I've only used MailChimp). It is slower, the open rate is slightly lower, although the design options are good.
